Coworking is an important part of growing prosperity in urban environments – giving people the opportunity of connecting locally and doing business in an agile way. A commercial building on Trelowarren Street (previously Boots) will be redeveloped for this purpose – breathing new life into this disused building in the town centre and reimagining it as a modern coworking space called Foundry.

What happens next?

Led by Forward, the project was granted full planning consent on 23 November 2023. Strip out of the building is complete and demolition of the redundant warehouse building in the centre of the site has commenced. This central area will form a new landscaped courtyard garden – early concept designs for which can be seen here. Detailed design for the courtyard and interiors are progressing well.
