What happens next?
An outline planning application for this project was submitted in January 2023. It includes:
A skatepark and wheeled sports facility
A multi-use games area plus outdoor gym and activity facilities
A ‘pavilion’ block and space for community hire
Reinstatement of a full-size football pitch
Public toilets
A sensory garden
Accessible pathways with seating
Wildflower meadows with areas for natural play
Improved dog walking areas with better pathways
Sufficient car parking
