What do you want for the future of Camborne?

We want to hear from the young people of Camborne. Our job as a Town Deal Board is to look towards the future and try to envisage what that looks like.

We need the support of the young people in our town to make sure that we are picturing a future they want to be a part of.

Our competition is open to all Camborne residents aged 10-19. We would like you to tell us:

What do you imagine the future of Camborne would be like?

You can submit your entry in the following ways:

• Write us a story (of no more than 500 words)
• Send us a series of photographs (no more than 10) which reflect the future you’d like to see
• Make a short video (no more than two minutes) telling us about the future of Camborne

We will choose our winner and you can win Amazon vouchers. First prize will be awarded £100 voucher, second prize £50 and third prize £25.

Here are some ideas for things to consider before putting your entry together:

• What would you be learning at school?
• What do our natural and outdoor spaces look like?
• How are we making sure we are looking after our planet and contributing towards climate change?
• How are people getting around?
• What kind of jobs can you do in the area?
• What does the town centre look like?

The deadline for entry is midnight on Sunday 30 August, and winners will be announced shortly after.
