Public consultations were held about the Camborne Renew transport scheme earlier this year to seek feedback on initial proposals. Over 500 questionnaires were received and after analysing the results of the survey, the proposed designs presented in April have been reviewed. The revised plans will now focus on improving the environmental aspect of the town centre by adding more seating and plant greenery, better pedestrian crossings, 60-minute free parking at the top of Trelowarren Street and secure cycle parking. The designs are being further developed by the team, who will continue to engage with local groups.
